From 2017-2019, MBB provided ongoing Technical and Commercial advisory services to Zinfra’s Gas & Water Division.

Project Scope

From 2017-2019, MBB provided ongoing technical and commercial advisory services to Zinfra's Gas & Water Division. During this time, we played a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of a range of projects and programs.

One of our key responsibilities was the development of commercial management plans for the South East Water Program of works. This involved working closely with Zinfra, Jaydo, and PB Consortium to develop a comprehensive plan that covered all aspects of the project, including risk management, procurement, and contract administration. Our team provided expert guidance throughout the planning process, helping to ensure that the project was delivered on time and within budget.

In addition to our work on the South East Water Program, we also provided commercial advisory services for the Sydney Water Extension of Time Claims. This involved working with Sydney Water to manage claims related to extensions of time for various projects. Our team provided expert guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution, helping to ensure that these claims were resolved in a timely and effective manner.

Another significant responsibility that we undertook during this time was the successful management of the East Melbourne APA Claim for works under the Ausnet Master Panel Agreement. This involved working closely with Ausnet to manage a dispute related to works carried out under the agreement. Our team provided expert advice and guidance throughout the dispute resolution process, helping to ensure that the matter was resolved in a satisfactory manner.

In addition to our work on the East Melbourne APA Claim, we also successfully managed settlement outcomes for a series of AusNet disputes. This involved working closely with AusNet to negotiate and settle a range of disputes related to projects and programs carried out under the agreement. Ourteam provided expert guidance on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution, helping to ensure that these disputes were resolved in a timely and effective manner.

Another key responsibility that we undertook during this time was the development and implementation of the Commercial Management Plan for Tasmania Water. This involved working closely with Tasmania Water to develop a comprehensive plan that covered all aspects of the project, including risk management, procurement, and contract administration. Our team provided expert guidance throughout the planning process, helping to ensure that the project was delivered on time and within budget.

Finally, we also provided security of payment adjudication response work for various claims throughout Zinfra's supply chain.
