Introducing Surveillance Manager Maurice Baldasso

Meet Maurice Baldasso, a highly experienced and specialist construction professional and joined the MBB team back in 2018.  Maurice has worked as a Supervisor and Surveillance Manager for over 27 years in the civil engineering and construction industry and has actively played a key role at the forefront of major projects delivery. He has multidisciplinary experience working with both Contractors and Government Sector Clients across a wide range of sectors including road, rail, marine, building and land development.

It’s because of Maurice’s experience and attitude, as well as his working knowledge of the specifications set by Victoria’s Department of Transport, that the highest standards of work will be delivered when he’s in charge.

Maurice has managed and coordinated Contractors and work crews on a wide range of large projects varying in complexity and value. Notable road projects include the Craigieburn Bypass, the Eastlink Freeway, and the Burnley Tunnel City Link project. More recently Maurice has been engaged as Surveillance Manager for Safer Roads Metropolitan group, working on road safety upgrade projects. He has a detailed understanding of VicRoads specifications and how to apply them in the field, and excellent interpersonal skills that enable him to negotiate “best for project” outcomes with all project stakeholders.
