A little more about Janelle

I am from WA, having spent many years farming and raising 4 sons on the south coast of WA. When BHP Billiton commenced construction of a nickel mine in the local area, I took the opportunity to have a career change and this is when my interest in health and safety began. I spent many years working in the Pilbara in WA and then moved to Victoria in 2016 (married a Victorian) and have more recently worked on multiple level crossing and rail projects.  I have been fortunate to work on some amazing projects and with some fabulous people during the past 15 years of my safety career.

In my downtime I enjoy camping and hiking and exploring Victoria’s High Country’s stunning landscapes, which I’m lucky enough to have as my backyard. I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time with my family this year, including my first grandchild.
