Introducing Senior Quantity Surveyor Kevin Tuson

We are very pleased to announce that Kevin Tuson joined MBB Consulting as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Kevin is a Senior Consultant with more than 20 years of experience. Kevin’s construction experience includes both building and civil engineering, and he has worked for both contractors and clients. His early experience and training in Quantity Surveying saw him working as a Project Surveyor for Major Contractors in London, UK, on projects such as the London Underground, the DLR (Docklands Light Railway), and a major road arterial Dual Carriageway Viaduct. Kevin also worked in Berlin and Dresden, Germany, during the construction boom and newly developed market economy following German reunification.

Kevin joined the MBB team in 2021. His experience in Australia continues to cover all aspects of financial and commercial management, including dispute resolution, and has expanded to rail, high-rise residential, education, aquatic, industrial, and aged-care sectors.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours) degree in Quantity Surveying from the United Kingdom and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Where I’m from
Originally from Derby UK and moved Australia in 2005. I hope to catch up with my folks in the UK when realistic to do so.

Favourite Hobby / Sport
Rugby Union – I play for the Victoria Masters which is a competition created for over 35’s, which helps keep me physically and mentally fit and healthy. I  enjoy playing regularly in a social and welcoming environment.

What do you enjoy most about the industry & work you do?
The social interaction which is so necessary in this industry. More now than ever.

Now feels like the perfect time to join the MBB team. I am confident I am worthy of building on the MBB ethos of collaboration and integration. I am really looking forward to the journey ahead…
