Introducing Senior Quantity Surveyor Conor Maunsell

Conor Maunsell is one of our team of Senior Quantity Surveyors with over 13 years’ experience.  Conor brings a wealth of broad commercial expertise from significant rail, energy, and infrastructure projects in Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Conor joined MBB Consulting’s commercial division in 2021 and has recently worked as a Senior Contracts Administrator for both the Gippsland Line Upgrade (GLU) and the Warrnambool Line Upgrade (WLU) Projects, which are both part of the Regional Rail Revival Program resulting in a greater frequency of trains running from Melbourne and Gippsland and Warrnambool respectively.

Conor has provided the Alliance with tendering, scope definition and procurement expertise, commercial and contract management support to these major rail infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining the MBB, Conor was seconded to work for Vestas on the Kennedy Energy Park Project (a hybrid renewable energy wind and solar farm project) in Hughenden, Northern Queensland, and prior to that he worked for a Tier 1 in the Middle East as a Contract Claims Consultant.

Conor is an advocate for collaboration among major project participants and stakeholders, and consistently promotes the early detection and resolution of contract, scope, or cost issues. His unwavering commitment to good culture, combined with a thorough understanding of legal, contractual, and commercial issues, positions him as an effective commercial consultant across all delivery models.
